Streamlined Contingent Recruiting for Cisco Channel Partners

by Clay Davidson TALPRO HR Solutions

Cisco Partners know how difficult contingent recruiting can be. It is difficult to find the right recruiters. You juggle phone calls, emails, faxes, questions, and negotiate multiple recruiter contracts. And yet you still have a hard time finding that perfect recruiter for your situation. Dealing with one recruiter might not give you a wide enough candidate pool. Dealing with multiple recruiters is time consuming, inefficient, and you are never confident you are getting the best candidates, while not breaking your budget. With all of this to balance, it’s easy to lose focus on the task at hand… hiring your best new Cisco certified employee. How would you like it if all of that extra work were handled for you so you can concentrate only on interviewing great candidates and hiring that perfect employee? Talpro - Outsourced Recruiting Has Evolved

Fortunately, contingent outsourced recruiting has evolved. Thanks to a new strategic relationship with Talpro, the process is now streamlined for Cisco Partners. Talpro is a vendor management system that will drive the contingency recruitment element of Cisco’s Strategic Recruitment Solution. And better yet, Talpro’s services are free to Cisco Partners. Talpro will allow Cisco Partners to access preferred suppliers spanning the US who specialize in networking and sales recruitment.

Talpro will assist Cisco Partners with either permanent or temporary placements, and has the capability to assist with positions at every level; whether or not they require a Cisco certification. Talpro and Cisco have negotiated reduced agency rates with these preferred suppliers, enabling Cisco Partners to save up to 40% off regular agency fees, while having the efficiencies of full U.S. agency coverage and access to hundreds of thousands of candidates. Each partner will be given access to Talpro’s portal both through the Cisco’s Partner Talent Portal, and through Talpro’s website at www.talpro.com.

Here’s how Talpro makes your job easier. By using Talpro, you will streamline your hiring process and reduce your time and costs to hire immediately. All job postings are communicated to the Cisco preferred agencies that you select using Talpro’s portal. There is no need to pick up the phone multiple times, send multiple emails, or negotiate multiple contracts. Once posted, you can quickly and easily see who is working your jobs, how many candidates have been submitted by each agency, and where each candidate is in the hiring process.

All candidates submitted by agencies can be quickly accessed along with their resumes and other information in one single location. No more searching inboxes or stacks of paper trying to remember which candidates you liked and where their resumes are located. With a few clicks of the mouse you can schedule interviews, make offers, decline candidates, or communicate updates to all engaged recruiters.

When you post your openings on Talpro’s portal you can require the recruiters to include any number of additional “tools” with each candidate submission. These tools may include skill set exams, questionnaires, background check results, certifications, work samples or anything else that may be relevant to your hiring decisions.

If you find your HR staff and hiring managers are overwhelmed by requests from staffing agencies wanting to do business with your organization, let Talpro take over that busy work. Simply redirect those inquiries to Talpro where they can be handled according to Cisco’s approval policies.

In addition, Talpro keeps detailed records of the performance of each staffing agency for you to access at any time. All invoices are channeled through Talpro so you have just one cost center for all your outsourced recruiting.

Now you’re probably saying, this is great, but how much does it cost? Talpro is paid a percentage of the agency's placement fee, so it costs you no more than using an agency. In fact, because of the reduced rates that Cisco has negotiated with the agencies it costs less. And Talpro saves you even more by offering a way to earn credits towards future placements for both contract and permanent hires.

Talpro will reward you with credits based on a percentage of the fees that you pay for a position when it is filled. In this program, permanent placements will earn a credit equal to 10% of the total placement fees paid. The credits that you have earned can be used at anytime or combined to pay entire invoices and placement fees. With as little as 10 positions filled, you could earn enough credits where Talpro is paying 100% of your placement fees on your next position.

Cisco has formed this strategic relationship to assist Cisco Partners in North America. Talpro is headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. Cisco’s preferred recruiters have offices throughout the United States and Canada.
