CCIE Flyer 2011

I am a wayfarer on a slim footpath trod by few before me but as I have broken trail and taken the time to look behind me I see there are growing ranks of recruiting efforts looking to capitalize on the CCIE. I think this is a good thing because the respect CCIEs deserve is a result of some of this work we have done right here in the CCIE Flyer. Yes here we go sprinting into a new year with the old year behind us and a whole world of possibilities ahead. I cannot tell you how many people have told me that when we talk I sound like I am having fun and that I love what I do. I am glad I hear that a lot, because if I was not having fun and letting others in on it I would have to stop doing this and find something else to do.

2011 was a year filled with possibilities and I am happy to say was our best year ever at CCIE Agent, Limited. In 2011 readership of the CCIE Flyer continued its growth. I am not a writer I must confess and I am certain that this fault is obvious to some of you. So to the rest of you I wanted to share my enrolment in a writing course to correct my deficiency. I should be through this course about half way through 2012. So until then I will continue to scratch out a few lines here and there as practice. Heck maybe one day I will become a journalist! LOL

What did you read in 2011? Well 480,000 unique sessions, 1,500,000 hits voted on the following in 2011.

#1 - http://ccieflyer.com/2009-Apr-My-Trip-to-Egypt.php it seems that my trip to Egypt from 2009 is still getting a lot of reading. My friends in Egypt made me feel at home and welcome like no other trip I have made so far.

#2 - http://ccieflyer.com/2010-02-Gorgon-Stare.php a story from 2010 is still getting a lot of reads. CCIEs are partially responsible for the drones so successful in rounding up Kaddafi. When I was asked to locate a few CCIEs to make this weapon a success this article brought them to my door and I place nine on this project.

#3 - http://ccieflyer.com/2010-03-CCIE-Twins.php in the annals of CCIE history being written these twins seem to be popular. Another post from 2010 seems to have captured readers’ hearts.

#4 - http://ccieflyer.com/2011-06-CCIE_Number_Association.php if you are a CCIE or plan on being one soon there are rules damn it! In 2011 I shared the details to your number association in this post.

#5 - http://ccieflyer.com/pdf/2009-Mar-Oleg-Berzin.pdf there have been many readers of this post from a friend of mine named Oleg. He has done some great work and this 2009 post about Band Width, Delay and Throughput. I swear I don’t have a clue where this genius gets all this stuff!

#6 - http://ccieflyer.com/2010-02-Darby-Weaver-Achilles-Heel.php I have had the pleasure of having Darby Weaver to my home. He is my friend and I am proud to number him among the many I have collected over the years. This post from 2010 still gets a lot of readers.

#7 - http://ccieflyer.com/2011-05-Saulat_Ali.php in 2011 my friend Ali passed the CCIE lab on his 1st try. He traveled to Brussels and kicked the lab in the ass! This one is getting a lot of hits still today.

#8 - http://ccieflyer.com/2010-03-RedGrease.php Red Grease or as we all know him Shiney Ducktape Man has been popular. I am now going to revive him as a Reddit strip! So stay tuned fans of dumb stuff.

#9 - http://ccieflyer.com/2009-July-CCIE-Amnesty-Program.php who needs amnesty? Well if you are a CCIE and had rented your number out, I was trying to help you turn in the foible and regain control of your number. This did help a whole bunch of you.

#10 - http://ccieflyer.com/Dec2008-work-work-work.php man I did it. Really back in 2008 I saved the world with one finger. I am saddened by the fact that not a single one of you paid the 1 million dollars I requested for this heroic act of heroism. You have been reading it still so what’s the hold up?

Now it’s done this is like homework people! But sort of fun homework I will admit. These are the top 10 posts for 2011 and somehow the old stuff has endured. I should be happy I mean heck people pay Google to make their names or companies get first hit for the kind of keywords that keep you reading the CCIE Flyer. I am truly humbled and grateful to the whole world of CCIEs for making this a dream job for me.

So in 2012 keep on reading the CCIE Flyer people and have a Happy New Year!
