Ok, OK I get it. So you want to be a CCIE and you want to take precious time out to get it done. Precious because typically the average CCIE Lab candidate is cutting into their work time to get it done. With demands like billing or projects or earning an income at your heels and a Honey-Do-List (if you are married) and still for some pulling at your sleeve are the kids in need of attention. So what is a hard working future CCIE to do? Well pick up and leave of course!
SAY WHAT?
Really just think about it if you could why wouldn’t you do what Humphrey is doing? He has created a blog so all the envious can follow along…his first post read: Ahh, the wonderful CCIE blog. Creating a blog is a rite of passage for many people going for their CCIEs. Some blogs are wonderful and chock full of useful tips, while others are as boring as BGP path attributes.
Why should you read this blog? Simple… I’ve taken EXTREME measures in finishing my Cisco studies. So extreme, that I have fled the country (United States) to live in Thailand for four months. I’ve been here for two weeks at my beach condo, slaving away on Internetwork Expert’s Workbooks, reading my Kindle at the beach and chowing down on wonderful Thai food. Best thing is, this isn’t costing me that much and I’m loving every single second of it. Want to do the same thing? I’ll tell you exactly how.
THAILAND?
From his post:
So I am happy to share this link so we can follow his exploits! Way to go dude and I hope the peace and tranquility are devoid of tsunamis or equally destructive native women. Remember you are there to study I hope you brought protection! LOL
