We are on the last stage of becoming a CLP (Cisco Learning Partner) for APAC, which covers my homeland (Sydney), China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand and etc. In the near future we will be posting classes in these regions.

We started two additional CCIE tracks: CCIE Security: We are offering this class in many different locations, in US and overseas. The philosophy of this class is identical to the one we have for R&S, we will be teaching every item in the blueprint. We have kept the price pretty low ($2500) for a new student and for the previous students $1500.

CCIE SP: We are offering this class all over the world as well. For new students the class is $2500 and $1500 for our previous students.

We like to welcome Jared Scrivener. He needs NO introduction in the CCIE world. He is an excellent instructor with many years of experience, please see his interview with CCIEFlyer.

We are starting our first End-To-End program. The first class will be on April 26th through May 7th in Glendale, CA. I am sure 12 days of torture will set you straight. The philosophy of this class is “NO EXCUSE” which means every item in the blueprint will be covered such that YOU will have absolutely NO excuse for NOT passing. We will have the blueprint on an easel and we will mark off the items as we go on. I personally guarantee 100 percent satisfaction. Every item in the blue print will be covered and practiced. Also, you will have one MOCK lab and one troubleshooting lab to do within the 12 days. The price is $4200. We have a special pricing for our students as far as accommodation is concerned. This is simply the BEST.

We are going to offer the following authorized classes: CCNA Routing and Switching, Security, Voice, Wireless. CCNP, CCSP and CCVP These classes will be taught by an instructor that has at least one CCIE and these are fully authorized classes. We are working on creating access to the lecture for students who attend the class after the boot camp (stay tuned).

We are working on a 10 Mock lab work book for R&S; this work book should be completed within two to three months. This is for people that like to put it all together and see some of the behavior and interaction of these protocols in a given topology. This will also cover the entire blueprint.

The SP work book will be released a week prior to the first class which is at the end of March.

The Security work book will also be released in a month.

What is the goal of Micronics Training Inc?
I like to compare it to buying clothing in a department store versus a Boutique; I like to be known as the Boutique that is very affordable with an extremely HIGH quality.

How do you maintain this level of quality in the class-room and in the work books that you offer?
Teaching CCIE is like boxing, you are as good as your last fight, therefore, I like that last fight to be a knockout, and when you think that way, you are constantly trying to improve your ways and your lectures, I have recently added 5 hours of extra material to my lectures, and I will always change or do something different so my students do not get bored. My students in UK will see that in two weeks.

How do you compare Micronics and what you do against IPexpert and/or INE?
I DON’T. These firms are excellent. They are one of the BEST out there, BUT our philosophy is very different. Some like our philosophy and some like theirs. But I will NEVER do what they do; I like to be very different.

What do you really think about your new “End-to-End” program and why would one attend that class?
If I did not believe in it, I would have NEVER started it. I have been working on this program for a while. I wanted to be different and I did not want to offer it just to say hey….. We have it too. Now that I am done and completely satisfied with this program and I see that it’s very different to what everyone else is offering. I am more than happy to put my stamp of approval on it. Just imagine you are a student studying for CCIE R&S. The class-room will have an easel with the blueprint attached. We will start lecturing and conducting labs for every topic and I mean EVERY TOPIC in the blueprint. We will check off as we go on to the next topic. You will hear the lecture and do at least one lab about the subject matter. Once EVERY TOPIC in the blueprint is covered, we will stop. Through our12 days you will do a Troubleshooting lab and a Mock lab as well.

What can you say about the security and the SP track?
Once again it’s very different. If you need to know and pass these certifications, and I mean pass them knowing your stuff inside out, try it and you won’t be disappointed. You will see how we have ported the same philosophy from R&S to these tracks. Once the class starts you will feel and know the difference, you will know that you are in Micronics, it will be very obvious.

Why are you becoming a CLP in APAC?
I wanted some of the big firms to take Micronics training very seriously. The first step is to offer quality training and the second step is to become a Cisco learning partner. As a CLP you can offer authorized training and take CLCs. One thing that we will be doing that is different is the pricing and the quality. I promise to make it affordable to ANY STUDENT from ANY COUNTRY. I also promise HIGH quality training for these low level classes such as CCNA (All Tracks) and the Professional level classes.
