{insert_year} {insert_month}

This is the third year of the CCIE Flyer and it has tremendous growth from a few hits to literally thousands of unique sessions each month. The number is at or above 40,000 unique visitors as of the third year with an estimated 15,000+ being CCIE's.

So far the CCIE Flyer has taken up a number of valiant causes and has even reportedly saved lives in addition to helping CCIE's and Cisco Certified Professionals make a better life or at least a better C.V. That's a lot to be proud of.

The CCIE Flyer is the first eZine of its kind solely dedicated to the CCIE Community and has had many notable CCIE's who have taken time from their own busy schedules to contribute and some who are up and coming and have equally busy agendas. That says a lot.

The CCIE Flyer is a voice of the community and is read internationally. Yes, that means globally and Eman has gone from being a recruiter to being the "de facto" CCIE Agent that nearly every CCIE knows or has heard of as a result of his efforts to help the community and not just his own self-interests. I find that commendable.

The CCIE Community needed a place to speak and be heard and Eman Conde has provided that each month. Many now look to the CCIE Flyer with much anticipation and expectation. Some very notable people like Terry Slattery, Scott Morris, Ethan Banks, and Keith Tokash not to mention... the CCIE Flyer's own CareerDiva herself... and many others... Vik Mahli, Larry Hadrava, the list goes on for quite a while. Check the table of contents for your favorites... The CCIE Flyer even has its own Stormtrooper - Nickelby Thane (how many eZines can boast that fact?)...

The CCIE Flyer has given a lot of time to the trainers/vendors and some are now sponsors of the eZine.

The CCIE Flyer is home to special offers and insight from the likes of Narbik Kocharians of Micronicstraining and the Cisco 360 Program (the only Cisco Authorized Training Program). It has offered diversity by offering valuable and respected insight from the so-called grey market from guys like the inestimable Master of VoIP, Vik Mahli, and the "Voice of the CCIE" himself, the always humble Scott Morris (everyone's favorite and most beloved CCIE)...

Technical tips and advice are here too. It is a CCIE's eZine and while some issues may be simple to some folks, others may be eye-openers to the effects they can have on any given network near you as skillfully and thoughtfully presented by the legendary Terry Slattery himself, the world's first non-Cisco CCIE #1026. Personally I think he inspired an entire generation to greater things and we are all working in that direction or have already stepped in Terry's rather large footsteps.

Well 2009 is gone RIP (No not Routing Information Protocol but Rest In Peace) and 2010 is here and January is on its way to flying out the door... sooner than expected but expected nonetheless...

The CCIE Stats are in now and reflect the month of November 2010 and it looks like the population has grown by an aggregate of 10 CCIE's this past month. Not bad actually all things considered. The number of CCIE Routing and Switching has suffered some attrition this month as the CCIE Version 4.0 is still giving the brave and bold CCIE's who attempt it a healthy run for their money.

The CCIE Flyer has brought considerable insight from Cisco to CCIE's directly. Prior to the CCIE Flyer, this insight was rare and almost negligible. Cisco did offer something similar some years ago but again it was Cisco directly and not open quite an open forum where CCIE's and the up and coming might speak their mind, offer their advice, and share their experiences with their peers.

The CCIE Flyer has also brought a wealth of career related information to the CCIE community. We all need this more than we'd like to admit. The CCIE Salary Survey conducted is quite interesting and well taken by our community.

Finally... we owe all of this and a lot more to none other than the Conde Brothers themselves... Eman and Dan (aka The Man).

Oh yes - I recall seeing a picture of Eman on a Bull and I was wondering if that was some sort of a precursor to seeing a live video of Eman in Spain in the "Running of the Bulls" in 2010... We can hope...
