Welcome to the October 2009 Issue of the CCIE Flyer

by Eman

CCIE Agent Really, welcome to you we do appreciate you reading this month’s issue. Just to say thanks Dan (my big brother) and I are giving away Narbik's Soup-to-Nuts workbook in this issue. So download the PDF it’s a couple of megabytes, but well worth the download time. Tell all your friends! We also have a sneak peak at Narbik’s Advanced Routing and Switching V 2.0 for you!

I am going to an exciting event for the next week, GITEX. The largest IT expo I know of anywhere in the world. I will be sending daily pod casts back to you though the CCIE Flyer as I interview interesting people at the Dubai mother of all expos. So keep an eye out as Dan and I figure out how to post these daily.

The demand for CCIEs from my network is still strong and I am pleased to have an interview with a success story from Nigeria my team helped get an exciting job as a newly minted CCIE. His story is a good one. After speaking with him for seven months we were able to place him at a channel partner where he will thrive I am certain.

The folks from Cisco’s Brand Protection group allowed me an interview for this issue. No they don’t like to be called Brand Police! We did have some interesting information coming from this interview. The fact is stolen gear is out there on the market, counterfeit gear is being stopped at border crossings, and refurbished Cisco gear on the market often creates issues of reliability. Buyer beware!

We have some old friends in this issue and some new and we hope you enjoy this issue as much as we enjoy putting it out there. Look for jobs by reviewing the offerings from Decision Tool Box in this issue and we hope for many more to come! There is a lot to do and so little time. I will be on a plane to Dubai while Dan get’s this issue out so remember to click on our advertisers and tell them Eman sent you!

Peace!
