Micronics is Growing!

Narbik

Narbik never seems to get much sleep. Really I can talk to him almost any time and he is always on the red eye flights back and forth to many distant lands. He always seems to be writing, which is his passion. Text books are a real tough thing for me to read so writing them in my mind must really be hard. Still he pumps them out like midwife giving birth. He shares some of the burden but mostly he is the author of his many offerings. Recently his Soup-to-Nuts workbook was offered up to CCIE Flyer readers as a giveaway so in the October issue, which Dan (my big brother) and I are very proud of. The chance to give back to the CCIE community and help future CCIEs achieve their goals is important to me and always has been. I am grateful to the CCIE community, channel partners and Cisco for the awesome opportunity to work with them and to represent the network of professionals I have cultivated over the past few years. What a better way to give back than to provide low cost training options and now Soup-to-Nuts for free!

Narbik has been doing what he does for a long time now, training all over the world and remaining a fixture in many CCIEs’ careers. Mentoring is a big deal really and he is a great role model. Well he is now going beyond Routing and Switching to add an additional offering Security and Service Provider boot camps! Yes Paul Negron is working with Narbik to finish up the training materials and workbook for the Service Provider track while Piotr Matusiak. I have an interview with Piotr in this issue of the CCIE Flyer and he is a pretty good choice for heading the Security track with Narbik’s organization.

I hate the word Boutique, but this is how Narbik describes his approach to remaining a small independent shop with no brick and mortar. He shies away from the big business model so many training companies seem to evolve into. Instead he has remained the boutique of R&S CCIE boot camp training and now with the S/P and Security boot camps added he is still fighting the trend and remaining lean and small.

Pricing for the boot camps are still going to be run through the CCIE Flyer with some really great discounts so stay tuned and if you are thinking of investing your hard earned wages in boot camp preparation it is a good idea to wait a few weeks to see when the schedules will come out for these new Micronics offerings.

If you have any questions give us a shout at the CCIE Flyer!
