I have learned that different cultures and countries have various laws protecting their labor force, companies doing business in their territories, or both. In some regions the labor force is so well protected that offer letters are devoid of details considered standard in the United States and other countries. It has been a real education for me. So when dealing with a global resource, like CCIEs, I want to be able to advise on what I have learned. But no matter what culture or country you come from there are some things that are simply black or white, right or wrong or acceptable or unacceptable.
I will never stand by and let a member of my network be abused by an employer even if it is a Cisco Channel Partner! I have to tell you that the folks at Attitude Systems (this is not their real name just their modus operandi) are lowlifes! These scums took two CCIEs from their home countries and hired them into their company to qualify as Silver Partners with Cisco. They uprooted people from other countries only to then put them on the roles on unpaid leave after only two months! These criminals took people from the warmth and comfort of their countries, homes and family to simply discard them as if they were garbage only for the use of their CCIE numbers. What kind of garbage would do this kind of thing to another without conscience?
Yes I am calling you garbage Attitude Systems you are filth.
The contracts they executed with these trusting CCIEs came with a memo called, “Intent to Release”. Wow, unheard of, they included their contract to release the CCIE number as part of their package. But the details state the CCIE would have to leave the country to do this! What? You mean after you took these unsuspecting CCIEs from their homes you cast them out on the street without pay and then told them they had to again leave a country for work! You are really a bunch of criminals and when you would not even release the numbers when they left the country this proved you are nothing but garbage! What kind of people would hinder another from finding work during these hard economic times? One of these poor souls has been unemployed in the UK since this travesty. Unemployed after making the investment of a lifetime in acquiring their CCIE? Because of you Attitude Systems a person’s dignity and pride was compromised and his value to Cisco Systems was compromised. He could not earn a living in your country and then you kept him from making a living in the UK as well. His CCIE number is like gold and his dignity is worth so much more than that.
Be advised I am not stopping here Attitude Systems I am going to pursue this to the ends of the earth and will not rest until I know this has stopped. I thank Cisco Systems for helping me get both of the CCIE numbers disassociated. They knew this was a situation that could not be tolerated. The wonderful folks at Cisco took this case and fast-tracked the CCIEs as a priority.
IF ANYONE WANTS TO KNOW WHO I AM WRITING ABOUT I WILL BE HAPPY TO TELL YOU. CALL ME!
