The Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) is one of the dominating educational organizations in the Middle East. Science 1972, The Arab Academy (AASTMT) has been providing its high academic services through large number of educational institutes located in Cairo, Alexandria, and Aswan of Egypt and Lazekaia of Syria. The Arab Academy (AASTMT) is a part of the world wide Cisco Networking Academy program and it is a Regional Cisco Academy which has the authority to join and authorize educational institutes all over Egypt to be Local Cisco Networking Academies and it’s the best Cisco Academy in the Middle East and Africa for 2 year in a row now.
The AAST’s certified instructors, equipped labs and original international course materials - with the coordination of experienced management team in the field of IT training - are utilized to give individuals the IT-Essential, Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professionals (CCNP), and CCNA Security (coming soon) - Cisco Academy courses. The Cisco Academy graduates from the AAST are found to be in well respected positions in reputable organizations and Companies inside Egypt and abroad.
The increasing need to qualified and skilled human resources in today's fast growing Information Technology market, has stimulated the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) to initiate a scholarship program which aims to train young talented fresh graduates and prepare them for the requirements of the IT career fields, as a contribution to the society. The program is being carried out by a number of leading IT training providers among which comes AAST in a front position.
The AAST helps every year to enrich the IT market with a more than 135 CCNA and CCNP Cisco academy certified, through this project supervised by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI). We proudly contributed in changing the lives of hundreds of young talents who have taken the IT business road as a professional career from its right gate, in three governorates Alexandria, Cairo and Tanta, these young talents have been prepared for the IT market competition with the Cisco Networking Academy Program.
The AAST through the MCIT scholarship program Provides information and communication technology skills to the trainees, prepares intelligent individuals for the CCNA and CCNP certifications - which are two of the most required certificates in the field of networking, gives them real practical experience using Cisco’s intensive hands-on lab oriented courses in addition to all of that it also provides English language courses and soft skills workshops that develop the trainees personal non-technical skills to manage their everyday activities in a productive way through a number of courses like communications skills, technical writing, problem solving, time management, CV writing, interview skills and sales & marketing skills. It also ensures the quality of the courses for the graduates to be able to compete and to be the leaders of the IT community in the future.
